Description
Sephora is seeking to hire a Project Management Officer to support its Asia Pacific Region. Based in Singapore, he or she will be responsible for ensuring the cohesive execution of IT initiatives across the retail business and the interface with our Digital channel. He or she will also lead an array of diverse projects, from planning through to delivery on time and to budget, owning the process from Request for Proposals, vendor selection, vendor management, delivery and implementation. This is a new role for Sephora, and represents an exciting entry point to the company, and the wider LVMH group. With the convergence of retail and digital sales channels, the PMO will be a key driver of the emerging omni-channel business, and the right candidate will have the vision and strategic capability to be a leader in our technology infrastructure evolution which will enable our business evolution. He or she will drive the omni-channel strategy and roadmap from a technological perspective, which enables the business vision. The role reports to the CIO of Asia Pacific and will be an integral part of the technology and business leadership team of Sephora Asia.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Technology projects at the enterprise level: act as the enterprise solution architect for the company. Bridge choices and projects priorization between stores Retail, eCommerce and Mobile.
- Manage the scope, planning and budget of such projects:
- Assist the operational directions of Sephora in the project preparation, analysis and functional specifications definition (business requirements definition, general specifications …)
- Plan the projects under his responsibility according to the priorities defined by the Asia CIO
- Drive the project meetings with the suppliers and / or the business users of the different departments.
- Control the deliverables of the different suppliers and assist the business users during the testing process
- Risk and Issue management
- Participate and chair Steering and Project committees
- Insure relevant technical and functional document is properly formalized
- Insure proper competency transfer transition to evolutive and corrective maintenance teams after new systems rollout
- Insure proper training of end business users
- Liaise with the different parties involved: coordinate and Leverage the effort of the following teams:
- Internal Asia competency centres (Front Office Applications / Back Office Applications / Infrastructure & Network / eCommerce & Online) either in Singapore or Shanghai
- Central corporate office in Paris
- Third party suppliers
- Manage business stakeholders’ expectation: challenge, clarify and formalize functional departments’ requirements
- Demand planning
- Business requirement gathering
- Internal and external communications
- Processes formalization
- Training and adoption of corporate IS&T systems and processes
- Define and Optimize IS&T project management standards
- Define security standards, including Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, and follow up on their execution
- Enterprise Business Intelligence deployment

- In-Store mobile application deployment
- Proven track-record with leading and executing IS&T projects with multiple stakeholders
- Team player
- Solid
project management skills with integration of heterogeneous systems. At
least 3 years working as a functional lead and project manager gained
within:
- an IS&T department in the Retail industry
- OR a consulting firm with integration projects in the Retail Industry
- OR as a software editor providing solutions for the Retail industry

Requirements
- Proven track-record with leading and executing IS&T projects with multiple stakeholders
- Team player
- Solid
project management skills with integration of heterogeneous systems. At
least 3 years working as a functional lead and project manager gained
within:
- an IS&T department in the Retail industry
- OR a consulting firm with integration projects in the Retail Industry
- OR as a software editor providing solutions for the Retail industry
- Prioritization, timeline and stakeholders management
- Significant Omnichannel Retail experience
- Ability to visualize abstractions and deconstruct complexities when gathering specifications
- Excellent communication and related soft skills
- Analytical. Ability to collection right kind of data to monitor project KPIs
- Customer oriented
- Dealing with ambiguity
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience working with Engineering teams is a plus
- Consulting experience is a plus
- Good sense of humour, calm in a storm
